#LIMITLESSGRATITUDE starts with you.

The month of November is always synonymous with the act of giving and sharing in the resources we may have with those who do not.  The past year of the pandemic has drastically increased the number of people who are in need and under-served.  We at Limitless PT have taken the initiative to work together with our community partner, the Victor Farmington Food Cupboard.

Starting in the late 80’s, the Victor Farmington Food Cupboard began as a grassroots initiative to provide food and nutritional assistance to local families and individuals who were in need of help.  It’s humble beginnings served 125 families in the Victor/Farmington area; today, they are serving over 600 families throughout the Greater Ontario County region.

Each family who is in need is typically given 3-5 days worth of food that is primarily non-perishable and able to be cooked and stored with ease.  They also offer specialty products such as diapers, wipes, and feminine hygiene products.  Often you will see pop-up food drives that allow people in need to simply drive up and get the necessary items they need to serve their families.  The cupboard also serves specialty meals for holidays such as Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Nutrition being an essential part of a healthy lifestyle and well being, we are taking the opportunity to partner with the Victor Farmington Food Cupboard by enlisting your help.  Both our Victor and Brighton locations will be holding a canned food drive to collect items that the cupboard has expressed that they needed.  Presently they are looking for canned soups that have pull-tab tops (the ones that you do not need a can opener for) as well as canned diced tomatoes and other soup packets that can produce several servings at once.  All of these items can be found at local grocery stores such as Wegmans or Tops.

When you enter our offices you will see a box where the items can be placed.  Each time you donate you will be able to write your name on a slip of paper which we will place on our wall showing the gratitude of our clients.  At the end of the month of November we will be adding all of the names to a pot and pulling out three who will win a prize.
